Board of DirectorsThe Board is responsible for the overall corporate governance of Richmond Club and plays a critical role in setting the Club’s strategic direction. The Board also establishes goals for management and ensures good governance and ongoing value and commitment to the community.
The Board meets monthly and Directors are elected by club members for a two year period.
Born and raised in the very street that Richmond Club stands Geoff has been a member for almost 40 years.
Geoff follows in the footsteps of his father and uncle both founding members of Richmond Club. His mother, Dot, was the first woman to be appointed life membership in 2011.
A member of the Board since 1998, Geoff served as Vice Chair for seven years and held his current role of Chair since 2009.
Well known in the community from an early age, Geoff commenced his career as a local mechanic until joining the police force where he was based in Richmond and Windsor as an officer. Building on his decades of experience, Geoff spent ten years as a full-time instructor for the NSW Police.
Well known for his sporting abilities, Geoff has competed in 25 Bridge to Bridge races, winning both State and National titles. He also regularly participates in marathons worldwide and was notably the first Australian to compete in the Mount Everest Marathon.
Garry has proudly lived in the Hakwkesbury all his life. An Engineer by trade, Garry spent many years as a Senior Technical Instructor for Australian Defence Industries and then as Services Co-ordinator for the University of Western Sydney.
Appointed Vice Chairman in 2013, Garry has been a member of Richmond Club for 31 years – twelve as a Director.
Garry brings a broad range of experience having been Director on the Board of the Upper Hawkesbury Boat Club and MUNIF Credit Union – he was also the President of the Macquarie Towns Hot Rod Club for five years and served on the organising committee for the Skilled Olympics.
Garry has a love of old cars, antiques and building works which aligns perfectly with his wedding car hire business which has been operating for several years in the Hawkesbury.

Former deputy mayor (3 years) and councillor (10 years) at Hawkesbury City Council, Di is the chairperson of Hawkebury Legacy and active on the board of Sydney Legacy.
National Council of Women award recipient and highly commended-runner-up University of Western Sydney Woman of the West award, Di is proud to be actively involved in community work throughout the district.
Elected as Board Member in May 2019. A member of the Richmond Golf Club since 2011, serving on the Golf Management Committee since 2018 as club captain.
Scott brings a broad range of both marketing and sales management experience from within the beverage industry to this appointment, having been employed by Coca-Cola Amatil for more than 23 years in roles including, sales, event management, people management and account management within the amateur sports segment.
Scott has studied Marketing (Western Sydney TAFE) and Business Management (Deakin University).
Married to wife Tanya, Scott has three sons - Jarrod, David and Bryce - who attend school in the Hawkesbury. The family are actively involved in sports across the Hawkesbury, Greater Nepean Valley and Western Sydney districts.
Elected as Board Member in September 2018.
Kerry has a wealth of experience, in community service management, disability employment and recruitment, project and business management.
She currently holds the positions of President of the Hawkesbury City Chamber of Commerce (since October 2015) and manager of NOVA Employment Richmond (since 2011).
Kerry is very involved in the community, an advocate for supporting local business, building business partnerships, fundraising and supporting services for the community.
