Richmond Golf Club’s kids golf clinics start again next week on our legendary PGA-rated course.
The safe, no-contact, healthy heart, low-impact sport is an ideal way for young people to have fun participating in an outdoor lifestyle during current COVID19 restrictions.
“Anyone can play,” said Richmond’s PGA Pro Robert Kennedy, who coordinates and leads the classes. “It’s a fantastic natural environment. A great sport to keep the kids outside and safe during these uncertain times.”
Golfing ticks all the boxes: it improves balance and motor skills, stimulates the brain, relieves stress and teaches life skills like sportsmanship, persistence and respect.
Three courses are available at Richmond, each running weekly for 8 weeks, starting July 28 or 30.
Equipment is provided if needed. If registering online at mygolf.org.au, participants have the opportunity to optionally select the MyGolf participant pack for $30 at the online checkout. The pack includes a Golphin 7 Iron, MyGolf cap, MyGolf drawstring bag and a PVC golf ball. It includes free postage to a street address.
