Chinese New Year Celebrations 2026
Year of the Horse
Join us at Richmond Club as we welcome the 2026 Lunar New Year with a vibrant celebration for the whole Hawkesbury community.
On Saturday 28 February 2026, the venue will come alive, beautifully decked out with traditional lanterns, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere that celebrates culture, prosperity and togetherness.
Guests are invited to make a night of it with Goji Middle Asian Cuisine, open for dinner and taking bookings throughout the evening. Enjoy a delicious dining experience before stepping out to soak up the excitement of the celebrations.
From 6.00pm
As part of the festivities, we’ll be handing out 2026 Lunar New Year Hong Bao, each containing traditional golden Feng Shui coins, symbolising good luck, wealth and prosperity for the year ahead — a special touch for families and children to enjoy.
From 9.00pm
Experience the energy and colour of a Fire Cracker Display, Lion & Dragon Dance with a total of 45 performers, beginning on the greens before weaving its way through the venue, spreading joy, noise and good fortune as it goes.
This is a family-friendly event, proudly hosted for our local Hawkesbury community. Everyone is welcome to come along, celebrate, and usher in the Year of the Horse together.
